Copperopolis Horses are now safe

Special Thanks to everyone who helped get these horses rescued including; RE Horse Rescue of Tuolumne County, Calaveras County Sheriffs Department Animal Services, various news media including the PineTree.net, Union Democrat, Copper Gazette and Channel 10 News reporter Will Frampton. Thanks also to the many concerned local citizens who spread the word about the urgency of the situation as well as Sue Andrus of Copperopolis who helped move horses with her personal truck and horse trailer.

    Thank you Darren. Now, let’s correct why this was allowed to go on for so long,…and hold accountable those responsible,…(government employee and/or owner),…and let’s rewrite whatever AC policy/procedure allowed this to occur.
