Tour of California to come through Jenny Lind

The “Tour of California” will be coming through Jenny Lind on May 17th.

Three time “Tour of California” winner and 2007 3rd place finisher in the international “Tour de France” Santa Rosa California  resident and Radio Shack team rider Levi Leipheimer, will be cycling through our own Calaveras County on May 17th.

This tour in May, that goes throughout various scenic and topography diverse locations in California, is a preparatory race for the International Tour De France in July.

 

 

 

We will have a group of fans cheering and waving signs welcoming the tour near the corner of Baldwin and Jenny Lind road in Rancho and where Main street of historic Jenny Lind meets Milton Road. Nationally recognized cyclist Seana Hogan who is also a local resident of Rancho Calaveras has accepted my invitation and confirmed she will join the cheer section at Jenny Lind. We hope you will join in and welcome the tour to our county.

May 17th the tour will be riding through Jenny Lind, mark your calendar!
